How to get there:
Directions from Johannesburg:
Travel along the N12 via Witbanks and pass through the Middleburg toll gate. Take the R35 off-ramp towards Bethal. From Bethal, travel to Ermelo, Piet Retied and then Pongola.
Once you've arrived at Pongola, travel a further 27km (16.77 miles) and turn left off the N2 highway towards the Golela / Swaziland border post. Continue for 2km (1.24 miles) up the hill and turn left at the Shayamoya entrance gate. Follow the 1km (0.62 miles) dirt road to the reception.
Directions from Durban:
Take the N2 north and travel to the town of Mkuze. Continue for 40km (24.85 miles) past Mkuze and turn left towards the Golela / Swaziland border post. Carry on along this road for another 2km (1.12 miles) before turning left into the Shayamoya Lodge entrance gate.

Shayamoya Fame Lodge is home to a range of African wildlife. While strolling from the chalets, you may come across Duiker, Zebra and guinea fowl roaming around the lodge. Other game include Wild Dog, Giraffe, Rhino and Elephant.
