Shayamoya Game Lodge offers a range of activities for the whole families. Avid fishermen will be delighted with the fishing opportunities on the Jozini Lake. Guests on their South Africa fishing holiday can look forward to fishing excursions and fish for the famous Tiger Fish. This is the only place in South Africa that is home to the Tiger Fish. A variety of fishing rods and reels are available for hire.
Talented and enthusiastic guides will accompany you on boat excursions and game drives. Guests can spot African wildlife from boat excursions or game drives. Some of the animals to keep an eye out for include Elephant, Zebra, Wild Dog and Rhino.
Guests on their South African fishing holiday can experience nature up close on one of the Rhino tracking walks. The walks are not strenuous and are ideal for all fitness levels. The area is also a birding paradise and boasts around 400 different species.
The Pongola Golf Club has a lovely 9 hole country style golf course situated amongst Tamboti trees, sugar cane fields and irrigation dams. Guests should bring their own golf clubs as there are non for hire. This is a perfect pastime when you are not fishing in South Africa.
