Stonecutters Lodge is ideally nestled between mountains and river in Lyndenburg, Mpumalanga, South Africa. Situated in a malaria free area, Stonecutters is the ideal destination for families, honeymooning couples or business executives. The climate varies from hot summer days with afternoon rain showers, to warm winter days and cold nights.
By Road:
Stonecutters Lodge is located just 2 and a half hours from O.R Tambo International Airport (Johannesburg). From Johannesburg or Pretoria, take the N12 or N4 to Witbank/Middelburg.
Continue on the N4 toward Nelspruit through the toll plaza and exit the highway at the turnoff to Belfast, approximately 64 kilometres (38 miles) from Middelburg. At the second four way stop in Belfast, turn right at the Dullstroom signboard. Continue through Dullstroom towards Lyndenburg.
Thirty four kilometres (21.1 miles) from Dullstroom you will find a road sign indicating 'Lyndenburg 20 kilometres' and approximately 450 metres further along on a bend in the road is the Stonecutters signboard in the left.
Turn left onto a one kilometre (0.62 miles) dirt road. Bear left at the fork in front of the gates to Stonecutters in Mpumalanga, South Africa and proceed through the gates to reception.
By Air:
Stonecutters is accessible with a 45 minute charter flight to the nearby Lyndenburg airstrip.

The Trout House at Stonecutters Lodge

The Trout House is a well-appointed, double-storey overlooking the two dams. The house accommodates six guests and has wheelchair access.
