Luxury Timber Lodges
There are 8 Timber Lodges offering Mpumalanga fly fishing accommodation to a maximum of 8 guests each. Both the Timber Lodges and the main Manor House are situated on either side of a scenic road leading to the Lone Creek, Bridal Veil and Horse Shoe Falls.
The double storey Timber Lodges comprises of 4 units each, 2 downstairs, the B units, and 2 upstairs, the A units. A units are equipped with full kitchens with all cutlery and crockery, wooden decks with built in braai (barbecue), en-suite bathrooms with bath and shower and a loft room with comfortable twin beds. Other features include an open log fireplace for cold winter nights, and secure undercover parking.
B units offer a small kitchenette with microwave oven and bar fridge, cutlery and crockery, a portable braai, en-suite bathroom with either a shower or a bath, all linen and amenities, an open log fire and secure undercover parking.
Children are welcome at the Timber Lodge and if you would like to take a break from cooking, our Restaurant serves scrumptious breakfasts and fine country cuisine for dinner. Children under the age of 7 years are accommodated at half price and must be under strict supervision of parents and only by prior arrangement of management.
River Rooms
These 5 beautifully appointed rooms offer a luxurious and relaxing retreat from the stress of modern living. Each room at this Mpumalanga fly fishing accommodation boasts its own balcony overlooking a sparkling swimming pool, the Sabie River and well manicured gardens.
These rooms form part of the main Manor House and offers en suite bathrooms with bath and separate shower, linen and all amenities, overhead fans and heaters, telephones and secure parking.
Unfortunately the River Rooms do not offer accommodation for children under the age of 12. A maximum of 10 guests sharing can be accommodated in the River Rooms and you have a choice of queen or twin beds.
Luxury River Suites
These are 8 luxury suites boasting beautiful rose wood cupboards, Italian tiles and hand painted basins creating a luxurious, romantic and stylish atmosphere. These suites are the ideal choice for honeymooners looking for an intimate escape or busy executives needing a peaceful and tranquil place to get some work done.
Each suite offers a separate lounge with open log fire, an en suite bathroom with bath and shower, French doors with a delightful patio overlooking the Sabie River, forests and mountains, a telephone, linen, amenities and secure parking.
No children under the age of 12 can be accommodated for in the River Suites. You have the choice of queen or twin beds and a maximum of 16 guests can be accommodated for.
The Restaurant
Serving delicious breakfasts, tasty lunches and romantic dinners, the Restaurant at Lone Creek offers a delightful dining experience. This Restaurant can also cater for special functions including weddings, private functions, Christmas parties, special occasions and Year end functions for a maximum of 80 guests.
Wine Cellar
The Wine Cellar is a warm and welcoming gathering place for a maximum of 20 guests. Enjoy a convivial evening in the Wine Cellar feasting on sumptuous meals and relishing some of South Africa's finest wines.
