The conference room is fully equipped with modern equipment including TV, video/DVD, Data projector and pull down screen, White board and Flip charts. Catering is on a full board basis, which gives teams the freedom to devote themselves entirely to the job at hand.
Meals consist of healthy and wholesome farm style cooking, served in the dining room, or on the covered lodge verandah with stunning views overlooking the river. Conference packages can be structured to your exact needs and budget.
Weddings
Celebrate your union in the humble garden overlooking the river, which has vistas of graceful willows, gentle mountain slopes and a mirrored river backdrop. The bridal suite is wonderfully romantic, with a verandah that overlooks the gardens and river. Carryblaire Retreat caters for smaller wedding groups of up to 60 guests, and will tailor-make a package to suit both your style and budget.
Carryblaire can accommodate 18 people sharing and overflow guests can be accommodated in guesthouses and lodges in the area. The bar will be stocked according to your needs, and brought in at liquor store prices. This is a huge cost advantage for those on a tighter budget, and will allow you to utilise the extra funds on ensuring that your wedding day is all that you dream it to be.
Fly Fishing
Yellowfish abound in the waters in front of Carryblaire and offers some of the most challenging fly-fishing for your South Africa holiday. Accommodation is available to all visiting fishermen on their South Africa holiday and you can even fish by spotlight at night.
Bird Watching
Birdwatchers on their South Africa holiday will be delighted to know that Carryblaire River Retreat is a registered bird sanctuary, and boasts approximately 450 species of birds in the area. Goliath Herons, Paradise fly-catchers, Spotted Eagle Owls, Cardinal Woodpeckers, Black-breasted Prinias and Fish Eagles are amongst the more esteemed visitors that guests can spot on their South Africa holiday, while White Eyes, Sunbirds, Black Collared Barbets, Bishop birds and Crested Barbets frolic in the glades on a daily basis.
